Carved wooden dance baton with a curved sub-triangular section. The central portion of the head steps in and has two pairs of flanges, which have been pierced to permit the attachment of a fibre component, now missing. The overall impression is to create the appearance of a stylized bird, which is decorated with painted designs down both sides.
