Trumpet in Bb by Besson & Co., London, c. 1925. Brass with silver-plated sleeves. Three Périnet valves, top sprung, with round, flat touches and octagonal upper valve caps. Lever-operated key change valve from Bb to A. Front-facing tuning slide with water key. Mouthpiece missing. Bell inscription: ‘Besson Class A New Creation Trumpet 50 Medals of Honour 198 Euston Road London 117202 [serial number]’.
