Stamped on the bell with the device of a trumpet and with ‘TRADE MARK’ ‘BOOSEY’ (on the pendant flag of the trumpet) ‘BOOSEY & CO./LONDON/23556/Guaranteed/British Made’. Stamped ‘BOOSEY & CO./23556’ on the lower joint, and ‘BOOSEY & CO./MAKERS/LONDON/23556/’ AND ‘IP’ within a circle on the upper joint. Built in ‘International pitch’ i.e. ‘low pitch’ – (A=439Hz). Boosey & Co model 226.
