A ceramic dish for hanging on the wall, Sweden. The dish shows a depiction of two figures under a canopy: a female figure with a halo conferring a laurel wreath on the other figure, who is male. They are encircled by an inscription, which translates as 'If she be a wall, we will build upon her a turret of silver: and if she be a door, we will enclose her with boards of cedar'. The design is after a painting by Olhans Olof Johansson of 1835. The plate was made by Höganäs Keramik, Sweden, in 1978.
