Reused metal pastille tin, oblong in shape and with a hinge on the far, long side that attaches the lid to the box. The lid edges are decorated with a blue, flowery border. The main feature of the lid top, is the printed inscriptions denoting the product and its maker, all of which are on a cream background with a blue border that runs around the lid. The text occupies an arching banner at the top of the lid; a long straight banner bordered by blue on the top and bottom, that goes horizontally through the middle of the lid; and a scrolled banner that arches underneath this in blue. Flowers and foliage are present in the top two corners between the outer blue band and the upper-most banners, as well as on the left and right in the gaps left between the middle banner and the lower banner. Underneath the upper-most arching banner is a symbol of trade mark, the words themselves and a year of establishment. Under the lower-most banner is written the place and persons of manufacture. The outside of the tin box is coated in a plain cream enamel, but with the corners left unadorned. The interior of the tin is left unadorned as well.
