Woven rattan baby carrier over a wooden base. The exterior is decorated with a panel (aban) of coloured glass beads. The beaded central panel depicts a heavily stylized human face. The curving tendril-like motifs are characteristic of Kayan/Kenyah Dayak art. The panel is attached to the rattan frame by means of natural twine. There are two large multicoloured beaded tassels at each corner, and seven smaller tassels containing animal teeth running along the top edge. Just above the smaller tassels is a black, orange, and green pattern made with larger glass beads. There is a woven rattan strap attached on either side, for carrying.
