The mantra on this folio is written in Tibetan. It translates (in part) as follows: (This refers to the side of the folio not marked with the object number in pencil) Line 1: … all the Dakini class of evil spirits; the ‘Namdru’ or yaksha princess; Line 2: … all those evil spirits who delight the mother goddess; all pervasive ..? Line 3: … those evil spirits who spread epidemics; from all of these protect me Line 4: .. may they be seen. One day plagues and … day Line 5: … seven day ones; everlasting plagues, and Line 6: … all those plagues relating to wind element or energy of the body; all those plagues relating to the bile
