Amuletic hanging from the Han people of the Xining area, China. The amuletic hanging consists of a model lion of padded blue brocade fabric, the mane and moustache formed of yellow tassels, with smaller tassels on the side and top edge of the tail. Below the ion are suspended four pendants, each including several padded elements including animal and fruit figures and combs predominantly in pink, green, black and beige, with silk tassels below. Two bells are attached to the lion figure.
