Headdress for Gambuh costume for Panji. Formed on a basketry base covered in black brasok fibre, which also covers the backward-curving protuberance characteristic of Panji’s costume. A diadem of carved leather painted gold and decorated with jewels and mirror work. Gold-painted leather ear ornament at each side from which hang strings of gold beads terminating in woollen pom-poms, red and yellow. A spray of artificial flowers, white and yellow, at each side, each terminating in an artificial red flower. Chin strap of rubber.
