Woman’s bracelet, Akha, Thailand. Heavy white metal woman’s bracelet from Thailand, likely to have been made in China and worn by Akha women. At the base of the bracelet is an opening; on each side of this opening is a short section of flat-sided, solid white metal. These solid bases lead into six rows of heavy twisted wire, which form the hollow, decorative upper part of the bracelet.
