Stick zither from the Kond Hills dating from around 1950. A tube of bamboo with two stick pegs has seven tall frets attached with a mixture of beeswax and dung. A tall, pointed bamboo bridge, with notches for the strings, is fixed in position above the first fret, together with one of the two gourd resonators. There is a second gourd resonator attached to the lower end of the instrument. The strings are missing. There is a wooden part with the function of securing the strings at the lower end of the instrument. The dowel shaped section fits into the bamboo body, and you can see notches in the curved section where the two strings were secured
