Skirt, pargara, of hemp woven in vertical stripes of red, blue, green, yellow, black and white. Along most of the width of the skirt near the top the cloth has been pleated, the pleats secured in place with a line of black stitching. Where it has been gathered into pleats the top of the skirt is bound with a different striped fabric. Above the lower edge is a band of embroidered flowers in pink, white and yellow silks in satin stitch, embellised with sequins, the motifs oultined in honey-coloured chain stitch embroidery. Along the lower edge is a strip of petal shapes crocheted in green, white and brown. The skirt is secured at the waist with cords of plaited wool in red, green, white and burgundy.
