Modesty vest or bib formed of a rectangle of cream undyed linen cloth, pleated vertically at the centre, with an additional rectangular strip stitched horizontally along the lower edge. At the top a curved piece has been cut away at the collar, to which a strip of fabric has been attached with loose ends unattached for securing at the nape with metal hook and eye. The garment has been embroidered in simple discrete black and red motifs along the vertical pleats and extending below them, as well as along the collar piece. Two pink buttons towards the top of the central pleat.
