Dewi Sri symbol made of palm leaf. Circular base formed of four lontar leaves bent to form a cone shape above and a lip below which is secured by a vertical strip of lontar to which thhe ends are stapled. At the neck at the top of the cone shape the leaf elements have been cut away leaving just the stems; above this the leaves fan out again. Into the neck at the back a number of leaves have been inserted forming a fan shape, pinned to one another by short lengths of stick. At the front four further lengths of lontar have been inserted into the neck, the upper parts having been cut and folded into a variety of shapes. The upper ends of these leaves have been stripped into narrow lengths which extenf in curves at the top. The object has been reinforced with metal staples above its neck.
