Female coin figure, one of a pair, Rambut Sedana. Carved and painted wooden figure on a square plinth, which has floral plaques in the middle of each side and at the corners. The figure has two feet, painted white, and two hands, also painted white, but the main body is represented by a rod on top of which is the carved and painted head, also painted white with features in black and red. Hands are in a gesture with thumb touching end of index finger.The body is covered with Chinese coins, kepeng, attached to one another with thread to represent a costume which covers the entire body,arms and legs. Necklet and apron of red fabric covered with openwork decoration of carved ?leather? The headdress and earplugs are integral parts of the carved wooden head. Pink jewel in the front of the headdress above the face.
