Circular pedestal tray, dulang, of heavy wood, turned and painted. Turned pedestal with wide base tapering towards the top into which is set a circular tray which has a square aperture at the top to hold a stand, absent, onto which offerings of fruit and other items would have been fixed. The rim of the base of the pedestal is painted red, the base itself red, the sides black and the underside of the tray black at the flat base with a red band encircling it, red at the outward curving sides, with a narrow black band around the rim. Over these coloured areas the whole of the outside is further decorated in yellow paint in stylised floral and vegetal motifs, with three downward-pointing petal shapes on a red ground the length of the pedestal. In the widest panel at the base of the pedestal are yellow floral motifs in black cartouches set against a background of yellow swastika motifs on a red ground, the same arrangement of cartouches and swastika pattern echoed in the wide band on the side of the tray.
