Carved wooden figure, togog, of squatting female, probably of jackfruit wood. The figure wears earplugs, subeng, and the hair is in traditional Balinese style pulled back and wound in a large wide bun hanging down a little at the back and to the left. The upper part of the body is carved to suggest a diagonal covering of cloth which hangs over the right shoulder at the back. A skirt cloth is also indicated, but the contours of the breasts and right leg are both clearly delineated as if the cloth is extremely fine. The hands meet and overlap in front of the body, overlapping the integral plinth on which the figure is seated, the fingers elongated and straight.
