Doll on an elliptical plastic base with “Romania” written on it , representing costume from Maramures. The doll is dressed in a long cream dress with wide sleeves and orange and blue horizontally striped aprons, front and back. Waistcoat probably representing sheepskin waistcoat. Carrying a jug in right hand, painted with green and brown. Typed text panel found in tray and probably formerly attached to reverse of base of this doll reads: 'Coop "ARTA CRISANA" Oradea / PAPUSA TARANCA MARAMURES / Simbol: C. XVI. 331 / N.I.D. 403-76 / Pretul: 75 lei.'. Leaflet enclosed reads "Romania. Zona Maramures. Doll in Romanian costume. Product of the Handi-craft cooperation." Represents a costume from Maramures.
