Quilted country coat. Indigo-dyed with kasuri warp and weft patterns, with narrow sleeves and a collar extended to the hem. It has a lining of coarse grey cotton, frequently banded with 1 - 4 picks of white. The whole is quilted with horizontal rows of hand-stitching, 1 - 2 cm apart. The lining has been patched up in places.
