Rectangular bag made up of two panels, each decorated with applique and three rows of mirror work, with a long strip of commercially printed cotton fabric sewn between the two forming the sides and base of the bag and extending as a long shoulder strap. This strap bound with black fabric. Sides and lower edge of the two main panels edged with cowrie shells. The remnants of two folded and stitched strips of fabric sewn to centre top edges once forming a tie fastening.
