Man's scarf. Warp faced fabric woven from commercially spun wool with symmetrically arranged coloured stripes of varying widths in the warp. From the outside: white, black, (wide) red, yellow, green, black, white, red, black and very wide central white stripe with narrow line of black stitching along its centre. Bands of supplementary weft in a simple pattern of black and red at each end, with some strands forming three vertical fringes on the front side. Warp ends bound into bunched in yellow (outer b8unches) and red (inner bunches) forming tassels at each end. Towards one end at one side above the supplementary weft the initials BT crudely embroidered. Given to donor in village.
