One of pair of baby carrier straps. Predominately black fabric with dark maroon edging. Embroidered along the length in cross stitch with repeating bird motifs, another motif which may be a calligraphic symbol, and a geometric motif, alternately blue and green. At one end is a panel of applied turquoise satin, embroidered with a floral design in coloured silks and ending in a pair of black fastenings terminating in Chinese knot buttons.
