Long sash, made of two strips of white cotton fabric folded and stitched together. To each end a further length of white cotton fabric has been sewn, each of these end strips embroidered in cross stitch with two patches of geometric patterns in black and white separated by pairs of multicoloured star shapes. Extreme ends of the sash have strings of beads attached, terminating alternately in tassels and metal castanets, originally five on each end, one missing from one end.
