Small rattle drum or damarus (damling) and cloth.
The central section of the damling is held between the index finger and thumb of the right hand, while the cord handle is kept in the palm of the hand. The drum is is played by twisting the wrist so that the beads strike the skins. It is used in Tibetan Buddhist ritual in Arunachal Pradesh with either the greeb (handbell) or the dorjee (ritual sceptre).
