Clarinet in C. Ebony body with silver keys and ivory ferrules. Eleven keys. Keys are block mounted apart from the G sharp key and a subsequently fitted high C key, which are saddle mounted, and have square flat flaps and leather pads. Five pieces including mouthpiece. String lapped tenons. Mouthpiece, upper joint and lower joint are stamped: KEY/LONDON; Bell is stamped: KEY/LONDON/CHARING CROSS; All inscriptions incorporate a unicorn's head motif.
