Silver prize cup presented to the Museum in 1940 by Mrs. Emslie (Laura) Horniman. This cup was awarded annually in an essay competition and retained by a winning school for one year, while the individual winner received a miniature to keep. The cup is engraved with the names of the schools and is double-handed.
