This clarinet was made for Manuel Gomez, clarinettist at Covent Garden and the London Symphony Orchestra and professor at the Guildhall School of Music. The extra keys on the clarinet enabled Gomez to play B flat and A clarinet parts with one instrument. Boosey & Co. marketed a production model of this instrument.
