Bell is stamped: CLASS/A/MEDALS OF HONOUR/FB/BESSON & Co./"Prototype"/198 EUSTON ROAD/LONDON; and is engraved with floral decorations. Upper caps of valves one to four are stamped: 10, 12, 1, 5 respectively. Lower caps of valves one to three are stamped: 10, 2, 10; Back of second valve casing is stamped with an oval shaped crest reading: BESSEON REGD//BREVETE; beneath which is stamped the valve cluster serial number: 64687
