Big kettle drum locally as a Tudum. Drum has a rope attached to ease carrying. The pot's function is to add resonance while the leather membrane is what is struck with a pair of rubber drumsticks.

The Sora distinguish between song, king king; dance, tong sing; and music, kading-pane. The tudum provides the deepest notes in the Sora kading-pane ensemble of drums and oboes. The band always accompanies dance in Sora ritual festivals.
