112.23 Scraped vessels

Wooden rasp (drakatan) made from a clapper bell for a goat. It is held in the left hand while a stick is scraped over the notched parts of the rasp.

A rasp often features in Sora music. It is usually a scraped tube made of a length of bamboo carved with notches. The rasp is held in the hollow of the left hand while the instrument is played with a stick held in the right hand.
