Valve trombone. Long model. Brass body with nickel silver-plated finger buttons, valve caps and stay fittings. Three rotary valves. Finger buttons positioned over mouthpipe, which has a hook for the little finger fitted. Tuning slide with water key on bottom branch. Bell and valve sections offset by angled gooseneck and connected with a butterfly screw fitting. Socket for music card holder on third valve loop. Mouthpiece missing. Bell stamped: ALLIANCE/LAFLEUR/J.R.LAFLEUR & SON Ltd./LONDON.PARIS.NEW YORK/FOREIGN; A crest and feather emblem stamped beneath the text ALLIANCE.
