Bass clarinet. Low pitch. African blackwood (grenadilla) with nickel silver-plated keywork, crook, bell and ferrules. Keys are pillar mounted with granadilla rollers and leather pads. Boehm system. Underside of right hand thumb rest covered with green felt. Speaker key has a felt covered bumper pad. Flap of key on bell protected by cage structure with green felt bumper. Three joints including integrated crook/upper joint. Cork lapped tenons. Upper joint tenon has hole that lines up with tone hole of lower joint.
