Basket with two lids used for carrying the seeds to the field for planting. The upper part of the lid is for storing offerings of dried coconut and betel chewing.
The basket has a square base, with one small foot on each corner. The entire basket is made of plant fibre woven using the plaiting technique. The rim is rounded. A length of twisted plant fibre is attached to the basket, with some red fibres tied around it in a tassel. The lid is square and also made of plant fibre woven using the plaiting technique. On the top of the lid is a protrusion which creates an area for storage. The lid which fits onto the top of this protrusion has a square top and is made from woven plant fibre.
