Pazhuppu

Wooden glove kathakali puppet representing Pazhuppu, or Shiva. The head is painted with an orange background, and red and black detailing. Snakes are twisted within the hair and around the neck. The hands are pink, with the thumb and index fingers touching. The costume is textile and is predominately yellow, with some detailing.
