Glove puppet of Almauskampir, a witch in local folklore. Her head has been made from a gourd; she has a pointed nose; protruberant cheeks; a pointed chin; pointed ears; painted eyes, eyelashes and mouth; grey hair; grey eyebrows; white woollen strands for hair and padded fabric hands. No central rod.
She is wearing a green headscarf with a tasselled fringe fastened to a larger stole or chadyr of tie-dyed gauze over a black and white ikat dress. Over the dress, she is wearing a grey, felt waistcoat which is trimmed in blue and white. She is also wearing a choker made from balck, white and gold material; earrings of red glass, turquoise beads and imitation pearls.
