papercut (art)

Appliqué papercut in a landscape format, made of coloured paper on off-white card. It depicts a traditional Łowicz wedding scene. From the left: three musicians in vertically striped trousers and black jackets with red trim and yellow buttons, black hats and high black boots. The first plays a musical instrument, possibly a flute, the second a violin, the third a trumpet. Then a dancing couple, possibly the parents of the bride. Next is the bride, with a headdress and streamers, with the groom to her right. To the right of the bride and groom is another couple in festive clothing. Papercuts decorate the walls.
