beer drinking container; lid (narcotics & intoxicants: drinking); beer drinking straw

Wooden and metal beer pot and lid, with a cane straw. The beer container is made from a heavy piece of wood, which appears to have been turned. There are three bands of copper alloy on the main body, and one on the lid. The container is cylindrical, and the base is flat. There are a series of grooves which create bands of patterning across the surface. The lid also appears to have been turned. The lid has a spout, however it is unclear if the spout should face downwards into the container. There is a band of copper on the lid which has a metal ring and twine attached. The cane straw is long and thin, with hole at one end, and two narrow holes at the opposite end.
