Plain wooden box with lid and purple cloth ties. The box is shallow and rectangular, and the purple cloth ties are attached to the base of the box. The lid has a curved indentation on each long side to lift it by. The box contains a large piece of white muslin, packaging for an obi and other items, a fan stand and objects 1983.170.1 and 1983.170.2. This box formerly contained 1983.162-4.
