Carved and painted wooden figure of a woman carrying a basket of fruit on her back with a breastband. She is dressed in a short, plain green tunic, with a red and black checked cloth across her shoulders and tied at the front. There are two black leglets around her knees. She is also wearing neck rings, ear plugs, and white bracelets. She is barefoot.

Labelled: 'British Empire Exhibition 1924, Burma. Maker's name: Saya Chou Pauk Pwe. [Yol] Laikha.' There is also a label on the back with an inscription written in Burmese.
