dolls (pastimes: toys)

Set of four female nesting dolls made of turned wood painted pink, yellow and green. Three of the dolls consist of two halves with the fourth, smallest one being one piece. All the dolls are different and are coloured and polished. The colour arrangements pertain to the Mazovian style and have schematic facial features.

This type of Babushka style doll was popular in Russia and the Soviet bloc.
