Hood, louvous (fox fur, silk, cotton). Hood worn by men and women as part of 'national' dress. A simple hood of dark blue silk, figured with the Buddhist eternal knot, which motif is repeated with a pink applique band; the brim of fox fur is tied back with blue silk ties and edged with a band of ornage and green fabric with metal thread. Lined with quilted red and brown cotton. 15 x 9 1/2" (380 x 240).
