Circular vegetable fibre basket with a concave base, rounded sides tapering to the rim. It is decorated with brown bands around the base and rim with a geometric band at the mid-section. The pattern is called 'friendship design' because the points of the band are almost touching. Hazel structure and most of the basket is probably hazel. The very dark brown is Woodwardia dyed with Alder and again the light colour is bear grass.
