Sword from Democratic Republic of the Congo, formerly Zaire. The sword has a triangular blade from iron, with decoration where the blade meets the hilt. The hilt is formed of wood with a wooden disk half way along with incised lines, probably the guard. The hilt is wrapped with coils of copper alloy.
