Jaguar mask consisting of layers of leather (three at the thickest section) stitched together with wire and a layer of felt lining the mask which is held in place with wire. The exterior of the mask is covered with plaster and painted yellow with black circles overall. The ears are triangular pieces of leather painted red and held in place with wire. The eyes consist of a ring of red (painted) leather surrounding a disc of silver paper attached to the mask with wire. The nose has two bands of painted black leather which is stuffed with twisted vegetable fibre and held on with wire. The open mouth consists of a band of leather set on edge, painted red and held on with wire. Teeth are formed by a middle layer of leather cut into jagged shapes and painted white. The tongue is a piece of leather painted red which hangs out below mouth and held on with wire.
