Woman's pale lilac silk summer jacket, bordered at the neck with plain black fabric, then endless knot designs in appliqué, then a strip of green silk with woven pattern in blue of butterflies and flowers, this strip edged to either side with blue braid and black lace, then a wider strip of black lace. These borders extend from the shoulder to the right side below the arm. The same arrangement decorates the ends of the sleeves, but there are no borders along the lower edge of the garment, which is unlined. Secured at right side by flat circular metal buttons and loops, at neck, under right armpit and at right side opening. One knot button at neck may have replaced a metal button.
