Small embroidered silk bag roughly square in shape. The upper half of both sides is made of dark blue satin. The lower half on one side is made from yellow satin, with a small red stamp and three larger, black painted Chinese characters reading: 大吉羊 (祥) ‘da ji xiang’, which means ‘lucky and auspicious’.The obverse has white satin embroidered with pink blossom on a branch. Dividing the two fabrics on each side is a strip of applied lilac fabric. The lower edge is trimmed with a blue and white chequered patterned braid. The bag has a lilac drawstring handle. Looped through the drawstring on each side is a braided green knot and two tassels, green and pale purple. The tassels are wrapped with gold-coloured metal-wrapped thread and have two knots above them in pink and green and green and blue. The bag is lined with pink tabby woven cotton.
