Feather crown made from beige (egret - ?) plumes inside palm leaf container from the Wai Wai people of Guyana. The container is tied at one end with vegetable fibre. It is split down the centre to allow the crown to fit inside. The crown is rolled together by vegetable fibre cord. This crown is said by the documentation to be used as an 'inner crown' in conjunction with object number 1969.82, which is said to be the 'outer crown'.
