Fly whisk plume for Chinese officlal of black peacock feathers, with the inner set of 'eye' feathers on bamboo with a paper core, the handle is bound in red silk. Kept in a cylinder of paper-backed orange cotton with a Chinese inscription. This is in a rigid frame box covered in blue cotton outside, lined in red cotton inside. Flattened paper cylinder of same dimensions as plume-holder is in the box, plus two empty envelopes of plain white paper.
