Scenery for shadow theatre, rectangle of canvas painted; the scene is a dilapidated house, partly held up by the trunks of trees, window shutters hanging from one hinge. The house is also held from collapse by a large hook strung to a nearby tree. This represents the home of Karagiosis, the main character in the Greek shadow theatre (see 1968.666-670) and is set on the stage right of the screen with the other piece of scenery (1968.664) stage left. The house is called 'Kaliva'. Old repairs.
