Teardrop shaped water or wine bottle, made of pigskin leather with a folded section at the opening which has floral embroidery on the top side and paper on the underside. The opening is made of turned wood with a wooden stopper attached by string. There is a section of string down one side of the bottle which may have acted as a handle and there is twined fibre at bottle neck.
